The Passing of Ryan 'Briggy' Malabrigo
Next Saturday April 15th we will hold a fundraising tournament in honour of Ryan 'Briggy' Malagrigo. Briggy sadly passed away last year after a long illness.
I think Briggy holds the record for the amount of IPL teams he played for over the years! He was a true gentleman and well loved by all the teams he played for, including my own.
The tournament will include a raffle and a calcutta so remember to bring some cash!! There will be cash payouts for the top three players in both the higher and lower brackets. All proceeds of the raffle and calcutta will be donated to Briggy's kids. Sign-up at Dolce Vita from 3:00 to 3:45 and entry will cost 10,000 won. We hope to see many of you there!

Mid-season Singles Trophy Tournament - Winners
Yesterday saw another succesful IPL tournament. 28 players came out to play and were divided equally between the upper and lower brackets. Some great shots were played, some near misses, and also some straight up whacky shots. At the end of the day the final standings were:
Lower Bracket: 1st Place Boyoung 'BIBI' Park (Dolce Vita Sweet Life)
2nd Place Sung Hee 'Die Hard' Lee (King Pub Avengers)
3rd Place Park Hwa-Myeong (Bulldog Super Strokers)
4th Place Jim Dewey (Dolce Vita Sweet Life)
Upper Bracket: 1st Place Josh 'The Punisher' Suarez (Bulldog Super Strokers)
2nd Place Yi Young Jin (Dolce Vita Angry Birds)
3rd Place Sam Sheer (Bulldog Super Strokers)
4th Place Jun 'Madd Dogg' Yi (King Pub Avengers)
Interestingly, both Josh and Bibi went through their brackets undefeated so well done to them!
Congratulations to all the winners and a big thank you to Scott, Darryl, Jim Dewey, Charlie West, and David Pipes for helping to run the tournament.
Also thanks to the bars who hosted the games: Fat Alberts, Shenanigans, Bulldog and JR Pub.
