Mid Season Singles Tournament Summer / Fall 2011
Tournament:
Date: September 17, 2011, 4pm
Locations: Hollywood, Bulldog, Seoul Pub, Nashville
Mode: Singles tournament in 2 brackets based on player rating on the day of the tournament. All registered players will be separated into a lower and a higher ratings bracket, with equal number of players per bracket.
Registration:
Time: September 17, 3pm - 3.45pm, Hollywood (game play starts 4pm)
Fee: 10,000 Won per player
Requirements: participating players need to have played on 3 different match days in the current season. Check whether you fulfill this requirement by clicking menu Statistics, then Qualifiers, then select option Mid Season Qualifiers and scroll down to find your team.
Awards:
Trophies for 1st to 3rd ranked players in each bracket will be awarded at the end of season banquet.
The following price money will be awarded to the winners in each bracket on the day of play:
1st: 400k (400,000 Won), 2nd: 200k, 3rd: 100k, 4th: 60k, 5th-8th: 30k

End of season Banquet
The Hamilton Hotel closes the banquet hall and cancelled our reservation which we did back in January for our end of season Banquet.
We were able to book an alternative venue and date. Our end of season Banquet will now take place at Hotel Crown, Itaewon, Friday, December 16, at 7pm. We will post more details closer to the event. The location is not far from the entrance to Itaewon / Noksapyeong subway station (map).

New York teams play out of IU Lounge
From this coming Wednesday, both New York Lounge teams will play out of IU Lounge (not Ole' Stompers) for the rest of the season. The teams' names have been renamed to IU Lounge Yankeys and IU Lounge Exel. New York Lounge does not have a pool table anymore.
IU Lounge is in the basement at the corner of the building located 10 steps before the entrance to Spy Club, coming from the Itaewon Subway Station.

Orange Tree dropped out
Orange Tree dropped out of the League in this Season. Matches for all opponent teams will be changed to a bye, which means no match on the day scheduled to play Orange Tree.
Opponent teams will receive the average game win points of all matches played throughout the Season, but a minimum of 8 game wins, and the match win point. This will be reported to the captains and confirmed at the captains meeting, September 25.
