Playoffs

The first round of the playoffs will be played Sunday 25 Nov, at 4pm. Home teams are responsible for making sure their bars are open by 3:30pm for visiting teams to practise. Click Season / Playoffs to view the playoff pairings and match results.

Subsequent rounds:

QF: Wed 28 Nov, at 7:30pm

SF: Sun 2 Dec, at 4pm

Final: Wed 5 Dec, at 7:30pm

The top 16 teams at the end of the regular season will qualify for the Championship playoffs.

The bottom 12 teams will compete in the Best of the Rest playoffs. The first 5 teams will have a bye in the first round.

Click Season / Team List in the menu to view the standings of all teams, which is continuously updated by the site. How the ranking is determined is explained in the Help screen (click the [Help] button).

Captains cannot enter playoff match scores. Please drop the score sheets at Bless U after the match, so the scores can be entered by a league official.

Twilight Zone Excel Drops Out of League

Twilight Zone Excel has dropped out of the league after their forfeiting five matches. The team will not participate in the playoffs and team members are not allowed to play for another team or enter the end-of-season tournament. However, they are still welcome to attend the end-of-season banquet.

In accordance with the rules, all forfeited matches were scored 10-0 (plus a 1-point bonus for the match win) for the other team. Twilight Zone's remaining matches this season will be scored the same way.

Without your score sheets, we cannot proceed to the playoffs stage of the season.

Mid-season Doubles Tournament

EXCITING UPDATE!!!

Tournment:

Date: Saturday, October 6, 2012, 4pm

Locations: VFW and Phillies

Mode: Blind draw doubles tournament in 1 bracket. Doubles pairings for all registered players will be randomly drawn after registration. All games will be played as Scotch Doubles.

Registration:

Time: October 6, 3pm - 3.45pm, VFW (game play starts at 4pm)

Fee: KRW10,000 per player

Requirements: Participating players need to have played on 3 different match days in the current season. Check whether you fulfil this requirement by clicking menu Statistics, then Qualifiers, then select option Mid Season Qualifiers and scroll down to find your team. Registration is by individual player, not by team.

Awards:

Trophies for teams ranked 1^st to 3^rd will be awarded at the end of season banquet.

The following prize money will be awarded to the winning doubles teams on the day of play:

1^st: KRW500,000 (KRW250,000 for each player), 2^nd: KRW300,000, 3^rd: KRW200,000, 4^th: KRW100,000, 5^th-8^th: KRW60,000
