Mid-season captains' meeting
We will be holding the mid-season captains' meeting on Sunday, March 30th at 5 pm at Shenanigans.
Teams which have a representative present at the meeting (and who stay for the entirety of the meeting) will receive one bonus point.

Ghost Team Relocated
Due to unforeseen developments, the Ghost team will no longer be playing their home games at Ghost Bar. Instead, they will play home games at Action. Action is located across the street from Ghost Bar, in the basement below Goldfish.

Mid-season blind draw doubles tournament
The mid-season blind draw doubles tournament will be held Saturday, March 29th.
The tournament will be held at The VFW and Phillies.
Signups will be at The VFW from 3:00 to 3:45. Tournament will begin as close to 4:00 as possible.
It will be a blind-draw, double-elimination scotch doubles tournament.
Entry fee is 10,000 won per player. Players must have played in at least three matches this season to qualify for the tournament.
The tournament will count toward player ratings. There will be trophies awarded at the end of the season to the first-place pair, plus a cash payout as follows:
First place team - 240,000 won
Second place team - 160,000 won
Third place team - 120,000 won
Fourth place team - 80,000 won
5th through 8th place teams - 40,000 won

Old Town has dropped out
Unfortunately, the Old Town Groove team was not able to garner enough players to stay in the league this season. As a result, any team scheduled to play Old Town this season will have a bye week. Please check the schedule carefully to see if and when you have a bye.
Remember that byes are scored as the average of all of your team's match scores throughout the season. As the season progresses, that average will change depending on your wins and losses. They played the first week of the season, so that score will remain the same. The average score system started with the 2nd week of the season, against Scrooge Phoenix.
The team affected this coming week is 3 Alley Pub.
