Mid-Season Doubles Money Tournament
The Mid-Season Blind Draw Doubles Tournament will take place this Saturday (March 26th) at Upper Deck and Bull & Barrel.
Sign-ups will be in Upper Deck from 3:00-3:45pm and play will start at both bars as close to 4:00pm as possible.
The fee for competing in the tournament is 10,000won and any player who has played 3 separate weeks of this season is eligible to enter. The prizes on offer are as follows:
1st Place: 200,000won + Trophy
2nd Place: 140,000won
3rd Place: 100,000won
4th Place: 60,000won
5th-8th Places: 20,000won
The tournament will be seeded and a highly ranked player will be partnered with a lower ranked player to negate the possibility of superhero pairings. Players will gain or lose ranking points depending on their performance in the event.
It's a great chance to meet new people, socialise (drink beer) and take home a bit of cash. I hope to see many of you there.

King Bar Changes
Important Update 21st February 2016:
King Bar has closed down from this week. For the remainder of the season King Bar's team will be moving to a new bar on the 3rd Floor of a building between Sin Bin and JJ's and this will be called King Pub. We understand that they are taking the table from King Bar to their new home. They will forfeit this week's game against JJ's the Pain but Fat Albert's Scandal and 3 Alley Seoul Misfits have games coming up at the new King Pub, so I would ask captains to inform their players of the change of venue.

Important Notice: These details have changed in order to allow those involved in military exercises this weekend to compete in the mid-season tournaments.
The new details are as follows...
Mid-season singles trophy tournament: Saturday, April 2nd
Bars: JJ's, 3 Alley Seoul, Sin Bin and JR Pub
Time: 3pm sign-ups in JJ's and play to begin as close to 4pm as possible
Conditions: Free entry to all those who have competed in 3 separate matches this season. Trophies awarded to the top 3 players in the higher and lower brackets.

Bar: King Pub
Time: 4:30pm

Important Notices
Seollal - Korean Lunar New Year
We have decided not to play matches on February 10th. Although it is not an official part of the Korean New Year the government have added it as a holiday to make up for Sunday. Out of respect for those who may have to travel long distances at this time we will not play matches at this time. It does mean the season will be extended by an extra week and the end of season banquet will now be on June 24th. The turn around between seasons this year will be very short.
Team Fees
Please make sure your team has paid its fees in full (350,000won) by next Wednesday (January 27th). You can pay in person to Mark Jones at Scrooge Pub or ask a league official for the bank account details in order for you to transfer the funds.
