End of Season Doubles Trophy Tournament - Winners
We had a meagre 18 players turn up for the doubles tournament on Saturday. A finer bunch of people has never been assembled. After some thrills and spills, and quite a lot of waiting, the following teams claimed the trophies.
1st Place: Lenny Erickson (Sam Ryan's Rats) & Foster Burden (Sam Ryan's Crackpots)
2nd Place: Mario Vicente (Dolce Vita Sweet Life) & Waje Gemechu (Sam Ryan's Crackpots)
3rd Place: Ricnel Calimlim (Sam Ryan's Rats) @ Shin Joon Woo (King Pub Komodo Dragons)

End of Season Doubles Trophy Tournament
This Sat 12/7 is the End of Season Doubles Trophy Tournament. Sign up at JR Pub from 3:00 to 3:45. Play will begin around 4pm. Teams are made by randomly pairing higher and lower ranked players. Entry is free and the top three teams will receive trophies at the end of season awards party. There will not be personal rating points for this tournament so just come and have fun playing pool. It's also good practice for the playoffs:) We hope to see a lot of people out!

Our marathon 22-week season has finished and so the Playoffs begin on Sunday!

Matches to be played at 4pm on Sunday unless the two captains agree otherwise. Please let me know of any changes to the schedule.

Also, Playoff matches are a race to 8 so all games must be played in order.

End of Season Singles Money Tournament - Winners
We had a healthy number of 34 players come out for the singles tournament yesterday. After splitting into two brackets, upper and lower, the battles commenced. There were thrills, spills, and bellyaches. I heard there was some mewling also, but unconfirmed. After some epic matches these fine players pocketed the loot.
