End of Season Review
Tonight sees the end of the regular season before we hurtle towards Sunday's (That is SUNDAY, John Owens) Playoffs. Let's see what has been happening the divisions since September...
Championship A:
Boomtown Rats lead the way thanks in part to a Wonky's collapse and the fact Josh and Woojae were "too busy at home" a few Wednesdays back. Gentlemen, there is only one thing you should be using your hands for on a Wednesday night! Both Josh and Woojae will be hoping they do at least qualify for the playoffs...there was a rumor circulating that Strokers might have to forfeit tonight's match. The words Mark, Genius and Barnes are not often heard in the same sentence anywhere in Itaewon but...just for once...Mark Barnes, you are a trolling genius! Pinorea could catch the Rats as they play each other on the last night. Strokers and Wonky's seem destined to complete the top 4. Wonky's once again will finish as the "winningest" team but they just simply refuse to thrash anyone. They are just simply too nice. Speaking of too nice, Finch's Birds and Sam's Power will be battling for who finishes 5th and gets a bye on Sunday, which will be er...nice. Marvelous are simply marvelous at losing 7-8.
Championship B:
Ladies and Gentlemen, a moment's silence shall now be observed for Sin Bin Bombadeers...
That's long enough...King Pub are already destroying every team in their path and have already claimed top spot and, barring a miracle, will also claim the Ratings Division title as well. The Pain in the Hole, Bell Endz and a team still living off one night of glory look evenly matched. Black Hole and Kozels are playing for pride and I have only just realized how Shih Tzu are! One real win all season! And that against a team who had 5 forfeits that night. Still better than Dabu's team though, who simply crumbled, disintegrated and disbanded after a cold hard stare from Sunny...allegedly!
Championship C:
JJ's 86 match winning streak is getting ridiculous. No pressure for the playoffs but, if you guys don't win, you'll be known as the greatest IPL bottlers in history. Sweet Life have offered a hint of pressure to the JJ-Juggernaut. Frigates are 3rd, a mere 112 points behind the leaders despite having taken 0 points from 2 matches this season. The C _ _ _ Tips (sorry, one too many blanks there, must edit) are 4th, The Fools in the Pool are 5th and Ballet-Sticks 6th but all eyes will be on the clash at the bottom tonight. Yes, despite what I said last time, Pheasants have a chance to make the the greatest comeback in IPL history. On my last review, they were 56 points behind Scandal. 7 weeks later and an 11-4 win tonight would take them to the promised land of...7th. You can do it, Phillies!
Have a good evening and good luck to all for the playoffs (unless you play my team, of course)

Website issues
We had some website issues during the past 2 weeks, which were caused by malicious hacker attacks during the past month on the Korean web server where the site is hosted. Loading of the site became unstable, and it would sometimes not load all information of the site, or display the site out of format. It took me longer than I thought, and many trial and errors, to identify the origin of those problems. I have transferred the site to an alternative server last night, and believe the site display is stable now. Over the coming few days I will reinstall our web server and, after testing, transfer the site back to our server. There should not be any further issues or problems with this, but please let me know if anyone observes anything out of the ordinary.

End of Season Blind Draw Doubles Trophy Tournament
The end of season blind draw doubles trophy tournament will be held Saturday, November 11th. It will be double-elimination, and the format will be scotch doubles.
Pairings will be decided using a blind draw, with one from the top half of the ratings, and one from the lower half of the ratings. It is absolutely free to any player who has played at least 5 matches (5 separate weeks) this season. Trophies will be awarded at the banquet to the top three teams in the tournament.
Signups will take place from 3:00-0 3:45 at Wolfhound. The tournament will start as close to 4:00 pm as possible. Remember that it is a doubles tournament, so we need to have an even number of players. If there is an odd number of players signed up, the last person to register will not be able to play, unless they can muster up one more player or convince someone else to drop out.
The tournament will be played at Wolfhound and JJ's.
I hope to have a big turnout!
