Unfortunately, it has been learned that one team has intentionally lost games and matches in order to get into the Best of the Rest playoffs. The Executive Committee has taken action, and disqualified that team for the playoffs.
As a result, the Best of the Rest seeding has had to be re-calculated.

The end of season singles tournament will be on Saturday, June 7.
It will be a double elimination money tournament, split into an upper and a lower bracket. The cut-off point for the brackets will be determined on the day, depending on the ranking of the players that enter.
The sign-up will be at Sin Bin from 3-3:45 pm with games starting at 4pm.
Entry will be 10,000 won per player and entrants must have played 5 matches this season to qualify for this tournament.
The upper bracket will play at Sin Bin, Hollywood, and Bulldog, and the lower bracket will play at Shenanigans, Dolce Vita and Scrooge Pub. As this is an Itaewon Pool League tournament, player rating points will count.
Prize Payout:
1st Place - 250,000 won
2nd Place - 200,000 won
3rd Place - 150,000 won
4th Place - 100,000 won
5th - 8th Place - 40,000 won
There will also be a trophy presented to the winner of each bracket.

It has been brought to my attention that our singles tournament was scheduled for the same day as the dart league "banquet" (and I use that term loosely).
Since it is quite apparent that the Itaewon Pool League is expected to cow tow to the dart league, we are changing the date of the end-of-season singles tournament.
The end-of-season singles tournament will be Saturday, June 7th
In case anyone is wondering, I think that this disturbing trend of the IPL having to follow the dart league schedule has got to stop. If it came down to a rumble, I think we could take them. We would need to wear protective eye-wear, but once we survive their initial salvo of flying darts, we should be able to beat them into submission with our cue sticks. Of course, we would need to watch our backs from those potential turncoats who play for both leagues. Perhaps internment camps need to be set up prior to open conflict.
