We will have an extra captains' meeting this Sunday, November 29th at 2pm in Scrooge Pub.
This meeting will decide the format the league wants to run with next season. We have come up with 3 proposals (including one along the lines of the current system) that will be discussed, explored, ratified and packaged into a perfect system that will keep all teams happy (hopefully).
This meeting is very important to the future of the league and we would really appreciate it if every captain would make the effort to show up and share their ideas before voting. After the vote the captains can all head off to their various playoff dates.

A few things to let everyone know about:
JR Pub The Ace:
Sadly JR Pub The Ace have withdrawn from the league after having difficulties with player numbers. King Bar and JR Pub The Victory will receive 10-0 wins in the next two weeks for the games that were scheduled to be played against 'The Ace'.
The Executive Committee:
Ronan, Mark, Jumie and myself are happy to stay in our respective positions for 2016. However, this being a democracy, we also invite applications from others should they wish to stand for the various roles of President, Vice-President, Treasurer and Secretary next year. Please submit details of your proposed committee to me and I will inform the league and a vote will be taken at the end-of-season banquet on December 18th.
Steel Billiards:
A new pool hall has opened up just opposite Sin Bin and up the hill from King Bar. They are willing to let IPL members play there all day for 10,000won. The tables are of a high quality and the facilities comfortable. They are considering hosting a team or two from next season and they are wiling to talk to any team that may be looking for a new venue from next season. The address and phone number are as follows:

Friendly Pool League Clash with Anjeong-ri League:
We were hoping to have a friendly with Anjeong-ri League on Saturday 28th November at their place but because of the busy IPL calendar in late November and early December we have postponed this idea till January. Once myself and Jay from Anjeong-ri Pool League can agree some dates we will let you know.

The Mid-Season Blind Draw Doubles Money Tournament (There must be a shorter way of saying that) will take place this Saturday, September 19th in Hollywood and 3 Alley Seoul.
Sign ups will be in Hollywood from 3-3:45pm and play will start at both bars as close to 4pm as possible.
The fee for entering the tournament is 10,000won and any player who has taken part in 3 matches this season can compete. The prizes on offer are as follows:
1st Place Pair: 240,000won + Trophy
2nd Place Pair: 160,000won
3rd Place Pair: 120,000won
4th Place Pair: 80,000won
5th-8th Place Pairs: 40,000won
This tournament will be seeded and a high ranked player will be partnered with a low ranked player to negate the possibility of superhero pairings. Players will gain or lose ranking points depending on their performances.
